How do I exchange an item?
Hang It Up Boutique offers you a hassle-free returns policy.
RETURNS - EXCHANGES
For in store returns: You must have your receipt and exchange your items within 7 days of purchase. All tags must still be attached to the garments and they must be unworn and unwashed (in original condition). We do not offer monetary refunds, you will be issued store credit on a Hang It Up Boutique Gift Card in the amount of your returned item(s) minus the original sales tax cost.
For online orders: All returns must be received backed to us within 10 days from the date of delivery (as recorded by the shipping provider). All returned items must be in their original condition with all hang tags and labels attached. Any items returned in any other condition will not be eligible for return or exchange (ie., missing buttons, deodorant stains, pet hair, pet stains, rips/tears, washed). We DO NOT except returns on SALE or CLEARANCE items. Also, all Shoes, Jewelry, and Accessory items (Purses, Boot Socks, Scarves, ect.) are a Final Sale.
For easy processing of your online order return please enclose the packing slip (that was in your package when you received it) with the item(s) circled that you wish to return. Also, write on the slip what size you would like to exchange your item for OR ask for a credit. You must pay for your own return shipping. Please send us an email with the tracking number. Once we receive your package, give us 48 hours to process your return. You will receive an email with a credit code issued in the amount of the returned item. If the item has gone on sale you will receive the sale price.
We do not issue refunds, we only offer store credit for all returned items. A store credit will be issued to your account in the amount of the item(s) you are returning minus a 10% restocking fee. This will be done as soon as we receive your returned item at our warehouse. This credit amount is valid for ONE YEAR!
Please note: Original shipping cost for returns are non-refundable. We recommend that you send your returns via an insured carrier, providing us with a tracking number. Hang It Up Boutique will not be responsible for lost returns.
For orders purchased with a Gift Card, the credit will be applied to the gift card or a new gift card will be issued. However, such re-issues will not be processed more than once.
Returns will not be accepted for store credit after 10 days from the date you received the order.
The Returns Policy applies only to destinations in the USA and Canada.
PACKING AND SHIPPING YOUR RETURNED ITEM:
Place your packing slip and the return(s) in a secure package. Hang It Up Boutique is not responsible for items damaged or lost in transit. Mail your item(s) via USPS.
Please allow 24-48 hours for USPS to upload your tracking information. Once USPS has scanned your package, allow 5-7 business days to receive your package (you have paid for First Class Shipping). Once the USPS has your package in their possession, Hang It Up Boutique is NO LONGER RESPONSIBLE for the transactions that take place. All shipping and delivery issues must be handled through your local post office from this point forward. Every package comes with $50 worth of insurance, and the post office will take care of any issues you have with your packages once it is in their possession.

Returns from Canada can be sent through Canadian post. Return shipping charges from Canada to our Returns Center in the US will not be eligible for a refund.
